Don’t be fooled by non-vented- 4-piston caliper Rear drag brake kits for the G8X. That is all they are good for, one use, Drag racing. If you want a brake kit that matches what your G8X is and is as comfortable doing repeated stops on the street, highway, etc. look no further! VTT G8X Lightweight rear brake kit drops almost 60lbs off the front of your G8X, all while using 13 vented rotors, and 6-piston or 4-piston calipers. These brakes will give the factory setup a run for its money in stopping power, and allow you to run the front wheels you need for the traction! This kit will allow you to run the wheel/tire combo you need to drop your ETs all while putting the car on a significant diet over the stock front brake setup.

The kit is a true plug-and-play kit using Genuine VTT parts, coupled with DOT-approved brake lines, CNC 7075 rotor hats/brackets

This kit comes in 2 variations, 4 or 6 piston calipers for the rear

Brake Pad Choice

Choose between VTT Steet, and VTT Track pads. Street is a more street friendly pad, lower dust, lower initial bite, MUST be bedded properly, and warm to hold the car during brake boosting. Track is a more aggressive pad, higher dust, very high initial bite, MUST be bedded properly. but will hold the car during brake boosting even when cold.

Many more aggressive brake pad compounds exist from various manufacturers, and you can tailor to your needs.

**PLEASE NOTE: PADS MUST BE BEDDED PROPERLY TO GET FULL BRAKING FROM THE KIT, IF YOU DO NOT BED THE PADS PROPERLY YOU MAY ONLY GET 30-50% OF THE BRAKING ABILITY. IF YOU GLAZE THE PADS YOU MUST REMOVE THE ROTOR, SAND THEM DOWN, AND THEN REBED. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT!**
